Overview
We were appointed by our client to act (previously not represented) on the purchase of this large unconditional development opportunity. We advised our client through a competitive bidding process from 10th position to being the successful bidder. We also advised the client on selecting a joint venture partner in Crest Nicholson to deliver the scheme.
The original hospital, which was built in 1855 and sits on a 4 acre site adjacent to Victoria Park. The hospital was run by Barts NHS Trust until its closure and sale in 2015. Purchase was completed in 2015.
Our advice guided our client through site acquisition and proposal to deliver 300 plus residential units.
